With over 25 years in the manufacturing supply chain and new home construction industry, Brad has developed the ability to lead companies and develop strategies that have not only benefitted the organizations he has worked for, but also his customers.

Brad has always possessed strong leadership qualities and B2B skills, which can be attributed to his days playing rugby and the comradery that comes with the sport. He brought those qualities to Tech-Wood in 2013 as a new partner, and worked hard to grow the company, to the point that he purchased Tech-Wood in 2019. His knowledge and expertise to lead the entrepreneurial Tech-Wood team with the philosophy of “urgency, not panic”, drives the notion that Tech-Wood should always succeed on purpose, not by accident

Brad remains very involved in the home building industry as he has been an active member on various association boards and committees, supporting the building industry across the province for over two decades, including BILD Calgary where he currently participates on the Economic Forecasting Committee.

With over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry specializing in floors and trusses, Nick has become an integral part of Tech-Wood. Nick has advanced quickly in his career due to his results-oriented personality, which has contributed to making companies operate more efficiently and become more profitable.

As VP of Operations and Procurement at Tech-Wood, Nick oversees procurement, production, fleet management, quality control, and logistics at Tech-Wood. Nick is an active member of the WWTA and enjoys interacting with his peers over a round of golf. He is also passionate about his community and enjoys volunteering his time to coach youth sports.

Alecs has been crunching numbers for SME’s for over 15 years in a variety of industries including investments, commercial construction, and residential construction. Throughout his career in finance, Alecs has been able to think beyond the spreadsheet and develop financial plans that can be implemented and executed that increase profitability.

Alecs joined Tech-Wood in 2018 as the Controller and has become a great addition to the executive team and is now the VP of Finance, IS/IT. His rational business acumen provides Tech-Wood the ability to have a strong balance sheet, as well as operationally, Alecs manages Tech-Wood’s human resources and IS/IT in addition to the finance team.

Steve’s diverse skillset was a welcome addition to Tech-Wood in 2019 as Business Development Manager and has progressed into the role of VP of Sales and Design. His business acumen and leadership combined with his over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in the housing industry supporting builders, developers, and suppliers, provides Tech-Wood with a unique business perspective.  Steve not only focuses on developing strategies to increase sales and building customer relations, he continually has a pulse on the housing market, which plays a key role in the growth of Tech-Wood.

Kevin has been with Tech-Wood for over 20 years and possesses a very diverse skill set as he started his career as designer and has progressed into the role of Sales Manager during his tenure at Tech-Wood. Kevin’s ability to understand the in-depth details of design, in addition to the final application of our products, has created a high degree of trust from our customers and their trades. His unique skill set allows him to manage a wide range of projects, whether it be a single-family home, a commercial building, or a 6-storey wood frame multi-family project.

With over 22 years in the building industry Dan’s success has centered around his product knowledge and most importantly, his customer service. Dan’s customers always compliment him on his ability to respond in a timely manner with answers that limit the downtime in the field. He has the ability and knowledge to take on large volume builders, small custom builders and multi-family projects.

With over a decade of experience in the building industry, Kami brings a deep understanding of construction and exceptional customer service skills to her role. As part of the Inside Sales team at Tech-Wood, she manages new jobs, tenders, and pricing while serving as a key liaison for clients. Kami is also actively engaged in the industry community and has contributed to the BILD Awards Committee for the past six years.

With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Beata has honed a versatile skill set that includes resource planning, client relations, and problem-solving. Her deep understanding of construction processes enables her to deliver tailored solutions that meet diverse customer needs. Beata holds a PMP certification and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing, equipping her with the strategic and analytical tools essential for building strong client partnerships

Bradley has dedicated over 15 years to the building industry, establishing a reputation for excellence and customer service. His wealth of experience in construction management, project planning, and sustainable building practices, Bradley has successfully led numerous projects from conception to completion. Known for his attention to detail and a commitment to quality, Bradley has consistently delivered results that exceed client expectations.

With over 15 years in the construction industry, Josh has gained a thorough understanding and appreciation for this industry, and those that work in it. He has worked diligently to continue to grow his skills and knowledge enabled him to be proficient in framing and designing and producing prefab walls. Josh moved from the field to the office, where over the past 5+ years at Tech-Wood he has refined his skills as a designer. This growth has led him into his new role as Design Process Manager. Josh is currently leading Tech-Wood’s design team on their day-to-day tasks and mentoring his team to excel at their job and achieve their overall goals.

With over 15 years of experience in the manufacturing components industry working for large international organizations, Kirk provides the Tech-Wood team with an abundance of knowledge in design, sales and process engineering. As Director of Design & Process Engineering, Kirk oversees the design department and educates the team on the best practices of designing with the design software’s Tech-Wood utilizes. Kirk also provides strategic guidance on manufacturing efficiently which includes utilizing minimal space for maximum output.

Joe has been an integral part of Tech-Wood’s growth and success for over a decade.  He has progressed through the organization learning various facets of the business starting from the ground up.  After completing his Civil Engineering Technician diploma he gravitated to becoming a Design Technician, and for the past 9 years he has excelled in that role, which prepared him for the role of Design Manager. Joe will lead our team of 20+ designers to maintain the high standards that Tech-Wood provides their customers.
